Create Google Cloud Project

Open Google Cloud Console →
  • Click project dropdown → New Project → Name it "Taskit"
  • Select your new project

Enable Calendar API

  • Menu (☰) → APIs & Services → Library
  • Search "Google Calendar API" → Click → Enable

Setup OAuth Consent

  • APIs & Services → OAuth consent screen
  • Choose External → Create
  • App name: "Taskit", add your email for support & developer email
  • Click through all steps, on "Test users" add your email

Create Credentials

  • APIs & Services → Credentials
  • + Create Credentials → OAuth client ID
  • Type: Web application, Name: "Taskit"
  • Add this Authorized redirect URI:

Click to copy

  • Click Create
  • Click Download JSON (or copy Client ID & Secret)
